Janie cut a round slice of watermelon into 5 equal pieces. What is the angle of each piece? Use equivalent fractions.

If you cut it into five pieces, you would get 1/5 for a slice. To find the degrees, multiply the fraction by the number of angles in a circle, 360 degrees. 
1/5 x 360=72
So 72 degrees per slice.
