The length of a lizard's legs does not have anything to do of how long of a distance it can travel.
It does however effect how fast a lizard can get to a certain distance.
Longer legged lizards will have longer strides that can cover more ground per stride. Therefore, they can get to a certain distance sooner than a short legged lizard could.
Hope I helped!
