To get the equivalent fractions, you simply have to multiply the fraction with another fraction that would equal to 1.

2/8 x 2/2 (this is equal to 1) = 4/16; 1/4

3/8 x 2/2 = 6/16; 9/24

4/8 x 2/2 = 8/16; 1/2
