What happens to graph when you add a constant to a function ? Ex: f(x)+k

That constant moves the function graph upwards if it is positive, or downwards if it is negative.

For example, function f(x) = x passes through the origin, point (0,0). Function g(x) = x+1, moves one unit upwards and cuts the y-axis in 1. And function h(x) = x - 3 passes through (0,-3).
