point slope is very easy to use if you know a point that the line passes through and its slope! and you know both of these!

so first you must find the slope. you know this line is perpendicular to the original line so its slope must be the negative reciprocal, which is -2

the point it goes through is (-3, -2)

point slope: y-y1=slope(x-x1)

y1 and x1 are where you plug in the point

y+2 = -2(x+2)
