The least common multiple of 3 and 4 is 12.

[tex] \dfrac{2}{3} \times \dfrac{4}{4} = \dfrac{2 \times 4}{3 \times 4} = \dfrac{8}{12} [/tex]

[tex] \dfrac{3}{4} \times \dfrac{3}{3} = \dfrac{3 \times 3}{4 \times 3} = \dfrac{9}{12} [/tex]

Answer: 8/12 and 9/12, respectively.
