Meditation can be used for variety of purposes and it also possess many health benefits both physical and psychological. Loving-kindness meditation, that is Metta bhavana, is done with the goal of developing the feeling of compassion and the practice of cultivating the unconditional love, not only for your close persons but to the world and humanity as a whole.
