Kathleen rolled a number cube that has sided labeled 1 to 6. What is the probability that she rolled a 3 or 4? A)1/6 B)1/3 C)1/2 D)3/4. Please explain why.

Ok so we know that a cube has 6 sides, each numbered 1 to 6. 
This means there is a 1 out of 6 chance of rolling a side of any value (1 to 6).

So if she wants to roll a 3 or a 4, there are 2 possibilities out of 6 which she wants, hence there is a 2/6 probability, which is a 1/3 probability that she rolled a 3 or a 4.

So the answer is B) 1/3
