-5 plus -10 equals -15
-6 minus -7 equals 1
-3 times -5 equals 15
-5 divide -4 equals 1.25
depends on the equation....

Since it has variables on both sides and they are negative you have to add the variable to one side.

-a + b = -a + c
+a. +a
