The history of films and movies began in 1890s, and the first movies with sound or sound films are known as “talking pictures” or “talkies”. Before this the movies were silent films.
First talkie or first film with sound was released in 1927, and name of the film was “The Jazz Singer” which was Directed by Alan Crosland and produced by Warner Bros.
