Circumference of a circle formula -- c = 2πr, where:
c = circumference
r = radius

[tex]Diameter = 2*radius[/tex]

[tex]Radius = \frac{diameter}{2} [/tex]

[tex] \frac{17}{2} = 8.5[/tex]

Radius =  8.5

c = 2π(8.5)
c = 17π
c ≈ 53.407
