Since this is a quadrilateral, all angles together = 360°.
The angle that is 128° is congruent to angle y, so y=128°. Angle x and y are supplementary, meaning together they equal 180°, or x+y=180°. So x=180°-y. Which means, x=180°-128°=52°.
