Probably multiplication.

Since there are twice as many pounds ( 2 lb to 4 lb ), the amount of jelly beans should also be multiplied by 2.

you would need to multiply 550 by 2 because a 2lbs bag contains 550, and you need to find out how many a 4lbs bag contains, and the answer would be 1100 jelly beans, hope this helps
