There are two sorts of mindsets, according to Dr. Dweck: fixed mindsets and growth mindsets. People with a growth mindset aim to be a better version of themselves and feel that success can be attained through hard work and constant progress. People with a fixed mindset feel that their characteristics are etched in stone, creating a sense of urgency to prove oneself continually.
