∴Perimeter of triangle equals 2cm plus 5cm plus 5cm

∴The perimeter equals 12cm

Area of triangle equals 1/2×base×height,where base is 2cm & height is 5cm

∴Area of the triangle equals 1/2×2cm×5cm which equals 5cm²
