[tex]-2x² + x + 21[/tex]

Common factor

[tex]-2x² + x + 21[/tex]

[tex]-1(2x²-x-21)[/tex]

Use the sum-product pattern

[tex]-1(2x²-x-21)[/tex]

[tex]-1(2x² +6x-7x - 21)[/tex]

Common factor from the two pairs

[tex]-1(2x² + 6x - 7x - 21)[/tex]

[tex]-1(2x(x + 3) - 7(x+3))[/tex]

Rewrite in factored form

[tex]-1(2x(x + 3) - 7(x+3))[/tex]

[tex]-1(2x-7)(x+3)[/tex]

Answer :-[tex]{\large{ \red{{{-1(2x-7)(x+3)}}}}}[/tex]
