if value of x is less than or equal to 3, we will use first equation and if it's greater than we will use second.

So, g(x)=x+5

g(-7)=-7+5=2                                

g(3)=3+5=8

here we will use second formula because x is 9, which is greater than 3

g(9)=9-x

     =9-9

     =0
