Why do you think the Intolerable Acts fueled rather than put out the flames of rebellion?

The intolerable Acts fueled the American Revolution because the already bad relationship with Britain was made wayyyy worse. Instead of shutting the Americans up it mainly just p*ssed them off more. It was already tough to get by in early colonial times but the intolerable acts made it 1000x worse.
