This triangle shown has two sides that are the same, both are 6.  The value of those two sides is irrelavent, except for the fact that this is an Isosceles triangle and the angle opposite those two sides are equal.

       2x + 58  = 180

           2x    = 180 -58

           2x = 122          

            x  =  61
