Answer:

First, we find how many red beads there are:

2 + 1 + 3 = 6

12 - 6 = 6

Red beads = 6

Now we add the red beads and the purple beads:

Purple beads = 3

Red beads = 6

3 + 6 = 9

9/12 = 3/4
