If you live by a creek then you can get hydroelectric, if you live in a state that is very flat and windy, then you could have wind turbines. if you live in a state such as Arizona where its constantly sunny, then you can have solar panels. it all really depends on the environment and conditions that you are around to make the choice on what you want your energy source to be.
