Given :

A polynomial [tex]3y^2 + ( y+7)^2 -15[/tex] .

To Find :

The polynomial after fully simplified and written in standard form.

Solution :

[tex]3y^2 + ( y^2 + (2)(7)(y) + 49 ) - 15[/tex]  [ Using (a+b)² = a² + 2ab + b² ]

[tex]3y^2 + y^2 + 14y + 49 - 15\\\\4y^2 + 14y + 34\\\\[/tex]

Therefore, the equation of the polynomial in standard and simplified form is

[tex]4y^2 + 14y + 34\\\\[/tex]
