Hello, use the formula:

Pe = mgh

Data:

Pe = Potential energy = ¿?

m = Mass = 48 kg

g = Gravity = 9,81 m/s²

h = Height = 7 m

Replacing according our data:

Pe = 48 kg * 9,81 m/s² *  7 m

  • Resolving:

Pe =3296,16 J

The potential energy of the skateboarder is 3296,16 Joules
