to make it easier, sub u for g(x)
f'(e^-8x)=
f'(e^u)g'(-8x)=
(e^u)(-8g'(x))=
(e^u)(-8(1))=
(e^u)(-8)=
-8(e^(-8x))=
-8e⁻⁸ˣ
