find the height of the tree.

So there is a right triangle.

The tree hight over the distance from the tree is equal to the tangent of the angle.

h / 3 = tan(60)

h / 3 = [tex]\sqrt{3}[/tex]

h = [tex]3\sqrt{3}[/tex]
