Answer:

Given information :

[tex]f(x) = 2x^2-2x+7\\g(x) = x^2+9x-6[/tex]

Find f(x) - g(x)

[tex]f(x)-g(x) = (2x^2-2x+7) - (x^2+9x-6)[/tex]

Distribute the negative to the second polynomial

[tex]f(x)-g(x)=2x^2-2x+7 -x^2 -9x + 6[/tex]

optional : rearrange the terms

[tex]f(x)-g(x)=2x^2-x^2-2x-9x+7+6[/tex]

Combine like terms and find f(x) - g(x)

[tex]f(x)-g(x) = x^2 - 11x + 13[/tex]
