A jar contains 2 caramels, 7 mints, and 16 dark chocolates. What is the probability of choosing a dark chocolate, eating it and then choosing a caramel?

Answer: dark chocolate 16/25 carmel 1/12

Step-by-step explanation:

there are 16 dark chocolates

to find the probability you have to add up all of your numbers

2+7+16= 25

so the probablity of drawing a dark chocolate is 16/25

repeat the steps but subtract 1 from the total since you ate one you didn't put it back.  

so the probability of drawing a carmel is 2/24 or simplified 1/12
