What is the difference between a single-issue party and an ideological party?

All parties are ideological; that is kind of the whole point. An ideology is just a set or system of ideas- how much those ideas do or not not reflect reality is irrelevant.

A single issue party is just a party based around a single idea, rather than several ideas like most other parties are
