Answer: 16.1 g/mol

Explanation:

P  - the pressure of the gas

V  - the volume it occupies

n  - the number of moles of gas

V= 1.0L

P= 1atm

T=273.15k

PV= nRt

n=[tex]\frac{PV}{RT}[/tex]

=[tex]\frac{(1atm)(1.0L)}{(0.0821\frac{L*atm}{molk} )(273.15K)}[/tex]

n=0.04459mol

Molar mass: [tex]\frac{grams}{mol}[/tex]

= [tex]\frac{0.716g}{0.04459 mol}[/tex]

Molar mass: 16.1 g/mol
