Find the 1000th term in the following sequence: 2, 6, 10, 14...​

Arithmetic sequence, first term 2, common difference 6-2=4 so

a[n] = a[1] + d(n-1)

a[1000] = 2 + 4(1000 - 1) = 3998

Answer: 3998
