Explanation:

Narcolepsy is a rare disease caused by the absence of a chemical known as hypocretin in the brain. Its symptoms include excessive daytime sleepiness, hallucination and suddenly falling asleep. Parts of the body can also experience muscle paralysis similar to when a person is sleeping.  

While it is not curable, some of the above symptoms can be manged with medication and counselling.
