Write the net ionic equation of aluminum hydroxide and nitric acid. Al(OH)3(s) -> Al(aq) + 3OH(aq)

The chemical reaction between aluminum hydroxide and nitric acid is a neutralization reaction.

The products of the reaction is a salt, Al(NO3)3 and water, H2O. Since the salt is soluble in water, it would dissociate into ions, Al+3 and NO3 -. Therefore the net ionic equation is:

H+ + OH- -> H2O
