we have to find the value of above equation

Let the given function is 2(x + y) – (x – z)  

Substitute the value of x = 2, y = 1 and z = -3 in the above equation.

2(x + y) – (x – z) = 2(2+ 1) – (2 – (-3))

= 2(3) – (2+3)

= 2(3)-(5)

= 6-5  = 1

Hence the value of 2(x + y) – (x – z) is 1.
