The word analogy can compare words that have similar relationships to each other, and yes it can be used in that sentence but thats not the correct way (unless its a different sentence you didnt show any other ones)  so either A we need more info or you didnt use it the right way

for example the right way to use the word Analogy would be something like  ¨Now the analogy between this change and the change from the Roman patriciate to the later Roman nobilitas is obvious.¨
