The least common multiple of 6 and 7 is 42.

The least common multiple of 2 or more numbers, is the lowest multiple that all the numbers have in common. Here are the multiples of 6 and 7 up to 42, to show that 42 is the LCM.

  • 6: 6, 12, 18, 24, 30, 36, 42.
  • 7: 7, 14, 21, 28, 35, 42.

Thus making 42 the Least Common Multiple.
