So she breaded 1/2 of the fish and then ate 1/3 of that 1/2. So we need to find 1/3 of 1/2.

When you see "of" it means "×"

1/3 of 1/2 =
1/3 × 1/2 =
1/6

She ate 1/6 of the fish. She only ate 1/6 because fish is gross.
