The altitude of an equilateral triangle with side length [tex] a [/tex] is [tex] \frac{a\sqrt{3}}{2} [/tex].


So, the length of the altitude is


[tex] 10 \cdot \frac{\sqrt{3}}{2}= 5\sqrt{3} [/tex]
