Sure.  Draw a diameter through A and C giving point B on the circle, opposite to A.   Put the needle of the Compass on B, the pencil point of the compass on the center C, and draw the circle.  Call the meets with the original circle D and E.

ADE is an equilateral triangle inscribed in the circle.
